We are extremely excited to launch our very first virtual workshop series! After meeting with local artists and musicians, I have decided to break this up into 4 different workshops/ trainings.
Taxes & Finance- In this workshop we will cover what you can and can’t write off as an artist/ musician, free tax programs in Baltimore, pros and cons of incorporating your business, and beginning your retirement journey. Hosted by TBA
Grants & Grant Writing: Yours truly (Amy Reid) will provide attendees with a comprehensive list of city/state & national grants that are available to artists/musicians, share some tips and ways to write grants efficiently and have time and space to discuss any questions or receive feedback on artist/mission statements & bios.
Equipment Setup- Really, this should be titled wedding djing 101. We will go over all the basic terminology of wedding lingo, how to set up a PA system, writing contracts, some key documents I use to stay organized and stress free during the big wedding day!
Dj Happy Hour!- Grab a drink, share your best dj stories, ask questions, meet someone new! Lets network and share our resources.
